DJ SPOOKY VS. TWILIGHT CIRCUS - RIDDIM CLASH
DJ Spooky and Twilight Circus Dub Sound System
Riddim Clash: the new release on Play Label
OUT NOW!
distributed by: Intergroove (Europe) studio K7 (USA/CANADA)
The Tokyo/London/Los Angeles based Play Label has put together a
collaboration that will excite club music fans everywhere. DJ
Spooky and Twilight Circus Dub Sound System have both dipped
into their musical bag of tricks and produced a steaming
experimental, hip hop,dub classic which truly breaks new ground.
The mission started when the hip-hop impresario DJ Spooky
contributed the ruff hip hop/dub crossover track "If/When" to Play
Label's compilation 2.SCISSORS.Following on from this starting
point, Play Label interested Spooky (real name Paul Miller) in
participating in a more dub-based project with Ryan Moore, AKA
Twilight Circus Dub Sound System. The two worked together
tirelessly in crafting the album. Atmospheric, psychedelic, and
dub-wise at the same time, Riddim Clash will please fans of both
artists as will and no doubt create new fan base for both of them.
