    M Records is pleased to present this release from Tokyo's Little Tempo. The music is a brilliant fusion of dub, reggae, world and jazz elements - like Sun Ra meets King Tubby!

    This is the first Little Tempo release outside Japan where since 1992 they have built up a massive reputation over numberous releases. In Japan they are signed to a major label (JVC / Victor) and sell at least 30,000 copies per release!

    Little Tempo was formed by art students in 1992 and has since evolved to become one of the most popular bands on the Tokyo club scene. 'Fireblender' is their 6th release.

    They have worked with artists such as Linton Kwesi Johnson, Buffalo Daughter, Brixton's Funky Fresh Four, Rico Rodriguez & the Aswad horn section on previous releases. Little Tempo plays regularly at major festivals like Mt Fuji Rock & Rising Sun.

    The group was invitied by none other than Lee Perry to perform at last year's Meltdown festival in London. Little Tempo is now planning gigs on the Euro Festival and club circuit to promote this and future releases.

    This release and Little Tempo's highly original music style should be of interest to fans of dub, World, and all forms of adventurous music.
